President's Message
Thank you for visiting this site. Please check our site frequently as we anticipate adding current and archival information frequently.
I would to draw your attention to a few points possibly making Lovitt Resources Inc. (LRC.V) stand apart from its peers. As always, make certain that you seek the counsel of a registered investment advisor in your home jurisdiction before making any investment decisions.
- Lovitt Resources currently has 5.1 million common shares outstanding. Compare this to many of our peers with 25, 50, or even 100 million shares outstanding.
- LRC has substantial assets beyond the Lovitt Mine in Wenatchee WA. The company currently has land, a building and surplus equipment for sale which will cover our anticipated overhead and exploration expenses for some time, avoiding considerable dilution while the stock price is low. (See other assets).
- The adjoining Cannon Mine was in production from 1985 to 1994 and produced in excess of 1.1 million ounces of gold. The Lovitt Mine historically produced 420,000 ounces of gold and management believes that there is current potential to discover substantially more gold.
- The production archives of the Lovitt Mine indicate the discovery of a number of high grade gold and silver pockets. All exploration performed after production was suspended in 1967 was directed towards defining an open pit. We seek higher grade gold more in line with the historic success of the Lovitt Mine.
- The Cannon Mine found gold over several miles in a direction from North to South, with the Cannon Mine directly north of the Lovitt Gold Mine, and we agree with their assessment that the Wenatchee area qualifies as a gold camp.
- Obtaining mining permits today is a long difficult process, unless patented claims cover the area of interest. Our current exploration involves only the Gold King and MacBeth Patented claims, owned 100% by Lovitt Mining, the wholly owned subsidiary of LRC.
- The company plans to initiate a chart to be updated on a frequent basis to show the relative market performance of LRC compared to its peers, best exemplified by LRC vs. companies making up the McEwen Gold Index.
- The Lovitt Mine and surrounding area was explored by several top gold exploration companies. You can see some of their data on this site, and more much more will be added over time. Management looks forward to responding to your questions as the data on this site expands.
- Since 1970-1995 exploration was broadly focused on the open pit potential, there were few diamond drill holes on the patented claims, and not one to test the ore body to depth. The pending exploration program will test the deep potential.
- The company currently trades at a discount to even its real estate value making the gold mine asset a bonus until the stock is discovered. If you have read this far, we sincerely hope that your LRC stock discovery is of "bonanza grade".
